Bones in our bodies have many sizes from very small to quite big. The smallest bone is the found inside our ear. It is less than half a centimeter long and it is called the stirrup. The
longest bone in our bodies is found in our thighs and it is called the femur. This bone go up to 60 centimeters long in an adult, which is more than half a meter!

The femur connects to the pelvis socket, which creates the hip joint. This joint provides the entire body with stability, especially during moments of intense movement.
